OhMiBod Lovelife Cuddle

This little vibrator is like a dream come true. Much like the Minna Ola, the Lovelife Cuddle allows me to enjoy two things I don’t usually enjoy: internal vibration and patterns. It looks so unassuming but I guess looks can be deceiving. My entire experience with the Cuddle has been terrific, even starting with the packaging, which is totes adorbs.

The Cuddle is part of OhMiBod’s Lovelife line, which consists of seven toys, from small clitoral vibes to a triple stimulator. I have read pretty mixed reviews about Lovelife as a whole, but I’ve consistently read glowing reviews of the Cuddle. This made me happy because it was the one I was most intrigued by from the start.

It is rechargeable and made of body-safe materials — silicone and PU coated ABS plastic — like the rest of the products in the line. It’s smaller than I thought it would be but for me the size is just right. It is 6.5 inches long and 1.25 inches in diameter at the head and tapers down to about .75 inches at the smallest part. If your vag demands girth, look elsewhere (however, you may be pleasantly surprised by the curve – more on that in a bit.)

The controls are relatively simple. There is a heart shaped button that has three controls: +, -, and ~. Press and hold ~ for about 3 seconds to turn it on and off and press it quickly to change patterns. The + makes it stronger and the – makes it weaker. It features a USB charger, which I am always a fan of, and when it is charging, the LED heart will light up and blink. It says it takes 2.5 hours to charge and will last 2 hours in use but I’m sure it depends on what setting you use it on.

There are six intensity settings, and you can change them for each of the patterns. I appreciate the ability to do that because patterns on other vibes, like the LELO Mia, only operate on the highest power level, and others also only give you one option, like the We-Vibe Salsa. Some of the patterns are typical (eg buzz/break/buzz) and some are unique. The latter kinds of vibrations I’m actually into. I don’t like them enough to use them every time but I use the patterns with the Cuddle more than I do with 90% of my other vibrators. Me gusta, OhMiBod!

The first time I used the Cuddle I liked it just fine, but there were no fireworks. I did enjoy the fact that it made me feel like a frakin’ champ because I could insert the whole toy (well, the part that’s meant to be inserted anyway), thanks to its petite size. That isn’t something I experience often because of my dumb cervix. But I was skeptical of its g-spotting abilities since I didn’t feel anything special in that regard. Maybe there was something I was missing…

To be brief, yes there was. I think I just needed to figure out what worked for me. I tried it a few more times and each time I found myself growing more comfortable with the shape and vibrations. After using it a couple of times, I even turned it up. I’ve always thought that I didn’t really like vibration internally but I guess I just hadn’t found the right kind of vibration. Buzzy vibrations don’t feel good to me when they are strong, but rumbly ones are magical. The Cuddle’s vibrations are wonderfully rumbly.1 This kind of vibration is my jam. As for using it as a clitoral vibrator, it could definitely get the job done. It’s not strong enough for me to love using it that way, so I won’t say more about it, but I just want to point it out because I have a feeling a lot of other folks would.

And oh em gee that curve. I discovered that I don’t even need to thrust with the Cuddle, I can go hands free and leave it there since the curve makes it fit nicely around my pubic bone2. The curve is amazing and I prefer something more subtle like that for a g-spotter, compared to something like the LELO Ella which has a more severe shape and can be too much pressure for me. The Cuddle’s small size  creates just the right amount of pressure. Paired with the We-Vibe Salsa, it’s like holy blended orgasms, Batman! It’s good stuff.

Also, I couldn’t write this review without addressing the cute factor, so here we go. It’s pink. They’re all pink. Which I usually hate, at least when that’s the only option. But for the Lovelife line I surprisingly don’t mind. It kinda works for it. They even have hearts on them and stuff but, in my opinion, they do it without making it cheesy or a little bit creepy. I mean come on, it’s called a Cuddle. Not much is cutesier than cuddles. But I like it.

I must say I’m rather impressed by the Lovelife Cuddle and in my opinion it’s totally worth the price. The world needs more strong, quality, rechargeable vibrators in a lower price range. The only thing I can think of that would make it even more worth it is if it were waterproof. As it is, it is only splashproof which means you’ll need to use a bit of caution when washing it and you can’t take it in the bath or shower with you. There are only two kinds of people I wouldn’t recommend this to: people who seriously crave girthy toys and people who like their toys to accompany them in the bathtub. Otherwise, I think this tiny vibe would be a great addition to almost anyone’s toybox!

THANK YOU SheVibe for sending me this toy in exchange for my honest review!
